MSME Registration (Udyam Registration)
MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) Registration, also known as Udyam Registration, is an online registration provided by the Government of India for eligible businesses. It gives an enterprise official MSME recognition and enables it to access various government schemes and benefits. Registration is completely free, paperless, and based on self-declaration.
Eligibility (Current Classification)
An enterprise is classified based on both investment and annual turnover:

Documents Required
Generally, the following details are required:
- Aadhaar Number of the proprietor/authorized signatory.
- PAN of the business.

- Bank account details.

Registration Process
- Visit the official Udyam Registration Portal.
- Verify Aadhaar.
- Enter PAN and GST details (where applicable).
- Fill in enterprise information.
- Submit the application.
- Receive the Udyam Registration Number and Udyam Certificate online.

- Registration is free of cost.
- No physical documents need to be uploaded in the normal registration process.
- The registration is permanent; no renewal is required.
- One enterprise should have only one Udyam Registration, though multiple business activities can be included.
